The Devil’s Mouth releases first look ahead of Prime Video premiere

Blending suspense, underwater thrills and intense emotional dynamics, The Devil’s Mouth delivers an immersive survival thriller and a high-stakes summer adventure.

Starring a young ensemble cast led by Kathryn Newton, Lana Condor, Nico Hiraga, Gavin Casalegno and Tommi Rose, the film captures the energy and humour of recent college graduates before plunging them into a desperate fight for survival.

Set in the striking coastal caves of Thailand, the story transforms a natural wonder into a claustrophobic trap where danger lurks in every corner.

The plot follows five friends who embark on one last adventure along Thailand’s coastline. Seeking a final thrill before entering adulthood, they join a guided swim through a remote cave system known as The Devil’s Mouth—a breathtaking but unforgiving natural formation.

Deep inside its narrow and maze-like passages, their journey takes a terrifying turn after they discover that a freak storm the week before flooded the caves with sea life. While the creatures died in the fresh water, something else survived—fast, silent and deadly.

As they move deeper into the darkness, every corridor becomes increasingly dangerous, and each wrong turn leads to a new threat. Panic spreads, trust begins to fracture, and the group slowly descends into chaos.

In an environment where visibility disappears and fear takes control, survival becomes a brutal test of endurance and sacrifice.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow, the film also features Tayme Thapthimthong and is written by Aja Gabel and Myung Joh Wesner. It is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Jeff Wadlow, with executive production by Carsten H. W. Lorenz, Will Flynn and Sam Greenberg.

With a runtime of 105 minutes and a PG-13 rating, The Devil’s Mouth blends horror and thriller elements into a tense underwater survival story.
